My apology to Kalika Putra that we never got the chance to feature Sumukhi devi. I have not forgotton about Sumukhi Devi. This is a message send to me by Kalika Putra when I asked him about HER as I cant find it anywhere in the net. Sumukhi is a bali goddess and comes from the kali family. She is a blood goddess and that is what is mostly offered to her. Her worship is mostly eminent in occult and harmful tantra. She is very beautiful The great goddess Sumukhî has decorated her breasts with a necklace of Guñjâs beads. She is youthful and joyful, holding a skull in her left hand and a fine sword in her right. She wears red ornaments and clothes and is smeared with a red salve, all of which add to the splendor of her body. She sits upon a corpse. To those who meditate upon Sumukhî come all riches the mother sumukhi has two major mantras om klim utishtachandalini sumukhi devi maha pishchini hrim thah thah thah and krim sumukhi rakta shambhavi maam shatrun shyakari hum phat these mantras come from the mantra mahodadhi and shamshana tantram. She gives riches and destroys enemies, another diety similiar to her is pratyangira devi and varahi devi. This mother is very powerful and her rituals are of vamachara, she is extremely loving and compassionate towards her devotees and kills all their enemies. Her siddhi is quite time consuming but very simple, offer 400,000 ahoutis of dried bilva leaves in a yoni shaped homa kunda, these leaves must be dipped in ghee and the fire must come from the cremation ground from a burining coprse. Offer her vinegar/alcohol, ginger and lime as bali. This is to be done under a bliva tree facing the root, make her yantra on the root and do the homa at night during the vishudha nakshatra or kala ratri (krishna janma astami). She gives the sadhak wealth, wisdom and siddhi. Very easy to please and very patient with her devotess.
