Forever Oneness, who sings to us in silence, who teaches us through each

other.Guide my steps with strength and wisdom.May I see the lessons as

I walk, honor the Purpose of all things.Help me touch with

respect, always speak from behind my eyes. Let me observe, not

judge.May I cause no harm, and leave music and beauty after my

visit. When I return to forevermay the circle be closedand the spiral

be broader.

~ Bee Lake, an aboriginal woman

Silent friend of many distances, feelhow your breath enlarges all of

space.Let your presence ring out like a bellinto the night. What

feeds upon your face

grows mighty from the nourishment thus offered.Move through

transformation, out and in.What is the deepest loss that you have

suffered? If drinking is bitter, change yourself to wine.

In this immeasurable darkness, be the powerthat rounds your sense in

their magic ring, the sense of their mysterious encounter.

And if the earthly no longer knows your name, whisper to the silent

earth: I’m flowing. To the flashing water say: I am.

~ Rilke, The Sonnets to Orpheus, II, 29

THE SACRAMENTS

I once spoke to my friend, an old squirrel, about the Sacraments –he got so excited

and ran into a hollow in his tree and cameback holding some acorns, an

owl feather, and a ribbon he had found.

And I just smiled and said, “Yes, dear, you understand:

everything impartsHis grace.”

~ Saint Francis of Assisi

The divine manifestation is ubiquitous, Only our eyes are not open to

it. . . . Awe is what moves us forward. . . .

Live from your own center. . . . The divine lives within you. The

separateness apparent in the world is secondary. Beyond the world of

opposites is an unseen, but experienced, unity and identity in us

all.

Today the planet is the only proper “in group.” Participate joyfully

in the sorrows of the world. We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but

we can choose to live in joy.

You must return with the bliss and integrate it. The return is seeing

the radiance is everywhere. The world is a match for us. We are a

match for the world. The spirit is the bouquet of nature. . . .

Sanctify the place you are in. Follow your bliss. . . .

~ Joseph Campbell
