We welcome the new members. Given below are the list

statement and the introductory statement people receive when they

first join. We periodically post it so that the old members can

review it as well.

This spiritual discussion group is an open Satsang and is blessed by

Sri Ramana Maharshi, the great Jnani Sage of Arunachala.

a is in the best tradition of a joyous spiritual

fellowship for facilitating the Recognition of the Eternal Reality

that is One's Own Self. "I Am That!" This is the uncompromising,

simple, and yet Radical Truth proclaimed in a variety of ways by the

ancient and modern Sages of Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Taoism.

In Advaita Vedanta, the highest teaching emphasizes the complete

identity of the Individual Soul with the Supreme Soul. In Tibetan

Buddhism, Dzogchen is considered the supreme teaching and represents

the nondual focus on one's innate wakefulness. How beautiful the

variety of expressions in so many different traditions! We embrace

this variety with great joy and in fellowship in a.

No religion or teacher or tradition has a monopoly on the Essential

Truth of Reality which is Our Own Nature. In this context,

a focuses on the aspirations and experiences of

individuals on the spiritual path. Everyone interested in any of the

Shiva and Shakti traditions, and the related yogic and tantric paths

as well as those practicing primarily the cognitive methods of the

pure nondual teachings of great Jnanis such as Ramana Maharshi are

welcome to join. The discussions are typically expected to focus on

Self-Realization, Kundalini Shakti and Its Manifestations,

God-Realization, the Goddess, Enlightenment, and various types of

Samadhis (Savikalpa and Nirvikalpa). Discussion of various teachers

and teachings can also be enriching as long as there is mutual

respect and a feeling of amity in the conversation. Humor and poetry

and other artistic expressions of the spiritual life are encouraged

and supported. May God Bless everyone with Peace, Joy, and

Understanding. May we all nourish and heal each other in the spirit

of Compassion, Wisdom and Love. OM Shanti, Shanti, Shanti. Peace to

all living beings.

This is the statement people receive when they join the fellowship.

Hello Dear Friends,

Welcome to a. Please take a moment to review this message.

In the classical Yogic and Tantric paths as well as in the nondual

tradition of Advaita Vedanta, Satsangh is considered important for

spiritual aspirants. Ramana Maharshi, the Great Jnani Sage of

Arunachala, often said that Satsangh leads to Self-Realization. My

Teacher, Sri Chitrabhanu Ji, who visited the Sage Ramana in his teen

years, has said that the company of saints even for a short time

provides a great impetus for spiritual development.

Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Swami Vivekananda, Swami Sivananda of

Rishikesh, and Swami Dayananda Sarswati were some of the early

influences on my spiritual life as a child growing up in India. All

of these great spiritual personalities emphasized the power of

Satsangha. Satsangh is a Sanskrit term meaning "The Company of

Truth,(Reality, Existence, or Self)." We should certainly all keep

the company of Truth and maintain Awareness of our True Nature. In

practical terms Satsangha means Fellowship. Fellowship in this

context implies keeping the company of others who are on the

spiritual path. In Satsangha support is found to stay on the

spiritual path. In Satsangha, good things happen. Insights are gained

and Consciousness is Awakened to Its Own Nature. Here Shakti (Energy)

is Aroused in a genuine movement towards Its Source (Shiva) to enjoy

the Union and Recognize It Self as the Self as Pure and Eternal and

Complete Self Awareness which is Self Joyous and Self Existent. This

is a gathering of gentle people devoted to Self-Awareness,

Meditation, and the various practices in Yoga and Tantra. Some are

deeply rooted in rich spiritual traditions and others have come to

the spiritual awakening on their own or through a diversity of

spiritual paths.

We take great joy in the company of spiritual seekers, aspirants,

teachers, and masters. is a place where we have come

to experience the Joy of Fellowship. May God bless all of you with

all things good and beautiful and may you find the Great Peace in

Your Own Heart.

Thanks,Harsha
