This is part of an interesting debate that's taking place else where.
Can someone put some light on this.
Fruits, are naturally created by the plants in order for its own
survival. This provides an opportunity for the consciousness to
survive and further be present in this materialistic world and learn.
Fruits are naturally made as food.
Milk is the secretion of a mammal for its child and it is form of FOOD
that is present in nature.
Vegetables play the same role as a fruit.
But other than these most of what we eat are actually not food but are
edible. Since they are not naturally made as food they in turn seem to
have their side effect. Our body needs to secreat more acid than that
is required to digest other type of foods. This acid in turn causes
damage to our internal organs while trying to digest non-natural food
and while passing them out of our body.
This is just a though that come across my mind. I wanted to know what Ayurveda says about types of food.
