Respected jyotish gurujis and very learned friends, Saadar Pranaam. By the grace of Lord Ganesha, I have recently been able to start the study of the art & science of jyotish! I am encountering a little difficulty and I would be grateful if you could elucidate the question for me please. My question is when the sutras mention something like "lord of 5th, 5-L or paanchve ghar ka swami or 5th Adhipati", does it refer to the occupant or the significator (karak) of that particular house? Also, in different vargas e.g. would the lord of the 5th in D-1 be the same lord of the 5th in D-9? Or do the adhipatis differ according to the rashis? Most importantly, where can I find a chart/info. on the respective lords of each of the houses? Sorry if my questions sound a bit silly..... any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you all.
