  1. Can you please tell me more about sri dakshina murty stotram? (What does it mean? Who use it? Why is it good to be used?....) Thanks!
  2. I agree, that both interpretations are correct! Alcohol is widely used in advaita or aghora and in other spiritual paths. Yes, we could say that i'm the one who is hounting "death"! Hard question ! I think that there are people who had experienced the power of kundalini in other births and that in some people kundalini is not fully awaken! Those peole are, we could say, seers, with telepathic ability or something else. And that there are people who has open some chakras whene they are bourn and their sensation is much bigger then in others! I think that If you bourn again, you must start from the begining and when you are high enough, you can see how to go on. From which level, i meen! What do you think?
  3. It's hard to tell what fits to you. But, the bast way to activate mooladhara chakra is, that you first activate ajna chakra (names for ajna chakra are also: 7th chakra, guru chakra, third eye, command center, gyana chakshu, triveni, wisdom eye and Shivas eye). Ayna and mooladhara chakra are somehow connected, that meens, that when you activating ajna chakra, mooladhara chakra is activating too. Why it is good that you first activate ajna chakra? Because you will understand what is happening in you. Very good techniqu is trataka and jala neti kriya. Sure there are others, but these are tehchniqus that are very strong and resoults can be achived and seen very quickly! And, when ajna is activated, your progres will be much qickly with other chakras! Ajna is center where intuition and wisdom are developed. Concentration become much higher and so on.
  4. These tread i understand as speaking about kundalini in any form (Kali, Durga, Shiva, Bhairava,...)! Drink the nectar of immortality and kundalini will arise and when kundalini falls back down in mooladhara and if you can arise her over and over again, you will be freed from rebirth. What do you think?
  5. Avadhoota Datta Peetham is the ashram of His Holiness Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda. It is located in the city of palaces, Mysore, India. People come from around the world to study, celebrate holy days and steep themselves in Vedic tradion and spiritual practices. Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda s the Pontiff of Avadhoota Datta Peetham at Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Ashrama in Mysore, India. Sri Swamiji is renowned for His Healing and Meditation music and He is considered a divine guide who cultivates the ancient Vedic traditions. He was born fully realised in command of the eight Mahasiddhis and is a Guru in the Dattatreya Avadhoota lineage. The ultimate title of Avadhoota is an achievement of many life-times of spiritual progress. Only a few rare souls merit such an exalted title. In any one epoch, only a handful of Avadhootas grace this Earth. So what is an Avadhoota? Let us consider this question by looking at the meaning of the name itself and seeing what are the essential characteristics of an Avadhoota. "A": He who has achieved complete liberation from the bonds of desires. He who is absolutely pure and is ever absorbed in total, inner, bliss. "VA": He who has eliminated all His desires and is infallible to the three kinds of problems, namely, (a) diseases of the body, (b) illness caused by poisons of such creatures as scorpion, snakes etc, © adverse effects of natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes etc. An Avadhoota always lives in the present, forever happy in what this moment has to give. "DHOO": Through an Avadhoota's body may be smeared with dust or ashes, His mind is cleansed of all impurities. Having reached His goal, such an Avadhoota is beyond mere disciplines of concentration (Dharana) and meditation (Dhyana). "TA": He is ever eternally engrossed in the contemplation of the Absolute Truth. To this end, He has abandoned all worldly activities and even its thoughts. Such a soul has erased His ego, merging completely with the universal spirit. Main characteristic of an Avadhoota are: He who is a sinless philosopher and has cast off the shackles of ignorance (ajnana). He who lives in the stateless state and enjoys its experience all the time. He revels in this blissful state, unperturbed by the material world. In this unique state, the Avadhoota is neither waking nor in deep sleep, there is neither any sign of life nor any death, It is a state defying all description. It is the state of infinite bliss, which the finite language is incapable of describing. It can only be intuited purely by our intellect. A state which is neither truth or non-truth, neither existence nor non-existence. He who has realized his identity with the imperishable, who possesses incomparable excellence; who has shaken off the bonds of Samsara and never swerves from His goal. That thou Art (TATVAMASI), and other Upanishadic declarations, are ever present in the mind of such an enlightened soul. That sage who is rooted in the plenary experience of "Verily, I am Brahman (Aham Brahmaasmi)", "All this is Brahman (Sarvam Chilvidam Brahman)", and that "...there is no plurality, Me and God are one and the same..."etc. Supported by personal experience of such Vedic statements, He moves freely in a state of total bliss. Such a person is a renunciate, liberated, Avadhoota, Yogi, Praramhamsa, Brahmana.

  10. About doshas: there is some web site on ayurveda (see ayushveda dot com)! Thera are some yoga asanas on losing fat, like palm and triangle asana. Much simple asanas are: Fish, camel, cobra and cow asana. Don't try to do them perfectli right on the beginning. Over time you will do them perfectli. It is important that you do not feel any pain. And be careful with pranayamas!!!
  11. What if there is a problem with your lungs? How is your breath? And mybe the ears are the problem, because ears holds balance!
  12. It is good that you take a walk for at least 30 minutes a day (more than better). After exercise persons of type kapha become hungry and thirsty so they will wish for cold water and food. But the cold water will stop metabolism and whit that, it will destroy the effects of exercise. And because we know that the food has inversely effect on metabolism, you must not thake a snack and cold water, and insted drink hot drinks like herbal tea of something. The biggest meal must be early. By ayurveda, the best way is to not eat breakfast (perhaps just drink some hot berbal tea) and that you have a meal (bigger than others) in noon. Diner should be light and dont eat betwean the meals. If you can't release breakfast, than your breakfast must be the biggest. Than eat light lunch and light dinner. But the best way is, not to have dinner. Give up alcohol and tobacco. When you eat, listen to the music. Music should be light sounded. Learn to love your self. Drink hot water and honey. Bhastrika pranayama and surya bheda will increase the degree where your body uses fat. During the day don't nap. (Note: "Hot" dosn't mean Hot but warm water)
  13. The strongest sadhana is meditation on god. It will increase concentration and your memory will be much better. Your self-confidence will be bigger. Thus you will learn much quickly and you will remember much more. That is my opinion!
  14. "a" in these bija mantras is pronounced as long "a". Laaam, Vaaam, Yaaam, Raaam, Saaam, Saaam,....
  15. I'm curious! Can i build or invent some ritual, whit which i will worship or remember Goddess Kali every day? I will include fire, my kali mantra, etc. Like pooja for example just a little diferent (my stile)! What is your opinion on that?
  16. Good choice for initiation in Shiva Mantra is (I think) Swami Niranjananda Saraswati!
