In our Indian astrology, we consider only 9 planets, of these two are shadow planets (Rahu and Ketu) which arise due to the positions of Sun, Moon and Earth. So they have discounted these two and hence we have 7 days to match the remaining seven. Our astrologers have taken only 7 planets into consideration. Recently astronomical studies have concluded that Pluto is not a planet in the solar system.
