Dear Friend, I am sure Krishna or the our Allmighty knows what has to be done. And along with your devotion he also says us to apply our skills, knowledge to do our Duty. There was a small story told to me: There were three fisherman travelling in a Boat to cross a mighty Sea. It was a fine morning, clear sky and calm waters. It past noon and they crossed almost halfway and during the the evening times everyone was joyous that they were going to reach home in sometime. But suddenly it started with some thunders, heavy rain, huge waves.. they started panicking. One of them prayed to Shiva "Save me Save me !!..." another to his favorite God "Save me Save me !!..".. and the other told "Pray and start swimming we can reach the shore n we are not far away from the Shore." They told "God shall save us" and stayed in the Boat. The 3rd Guy prayed to his Favorite God and jumped into the Sea, swam across and saved his life. Well i hope you got the Moral of the Story. Hallo , Where does suddenly Krishna Devoteeism or Vaishnava concept come with regarding to Sati here??. Why do you need to link these two different things where the former is a HinduFaith and the other is a Ritual. Regarding the After War Slavery might be one of the point, but what i believe is that : When one gets married according to Hindu Faith, we perform rituals in Front of Agni (Fire God - significance of total truth and commitment) and finally do Pra-dakshanas. Well also during this we say that the BrideGroom and Bride have to be together in all aspects : Artha Kama Moksha. And so Sati would ofcourse NOT mean only MATERIAL BONDAGE. And also during the previous Yuga, people were as pure that they could pass through Fire and not get burnt 1% also. The Best Example is Sita in Ramayana, After coming back from Lanka were she had to proove her Pureness by going into Fire!. People of previous Yugas are definitely better in spiritual ways / devotion wise than the current Kali Yuga. So may be the Rituals have changed and shall be changing as time passes on. Respected Pandit. R.DAKSHINAMOORTHI Ji, Pandit Ji, I have a question regarding Parivarthana Yoga (Ref : astrolozy (dot) com). According to Parivarthan Yoga does only the mutual exchange of Planets of ownerships come into effect or also the placement of Planets ( for example in my Chart 4th House - Aquarius - Sun+Mars+Ketu and 10th House - Leo - Saturn + Rahu). Would the Parivarthana Yoga mean that during Sun Dasha , the Saturn would be give some better results or would that again depend on its Placements (Birth and Current ) and effects of other planets on Sun / Saturn. Since having Saturn and Rahu in the 10th House i always have the fear that would i succeed in my Job / Business Life. I am by profession a Computer Engineer and i am also interested to learn astrology. Could you please consider my Chart Pandit Ji and let me know if i would have a better Job during my Current Sun Dasha. I had already many Ups and Downs in my Job Life.
