Dear Friends, Just as Silence is not disturbed by the chirping of birds ... in fact its enhanced ... So too ... when understanding is right, thoughts are not a botheration. The intellect has to be built properly with Correct understanding ... and should be firm ... then thoughts are a privilege. If I have to do anything, I need the corresponding thoughts ... but if a thought arises I have the choice whether to act on it or not to act on it. So if a thought is a suggestion and not a command, I live a free life, choosing what I intend to choose. Life is a joy ride then. if instead thoughts drive me ... its like a person who sits in a car and the car is driving him rather than he driving the car. Life becomes an accident. so people should not condemn thoughts ... the problem is with the understanding which makes thoughts our commanders. We need to know how to manage the mind. if we know how to manage the mind, its like driving a car ... we can cruise through our lives with ease and no thought is a problem. Love! Silence
