By serving Krishna, do people mean "thinking of", "meditating of" or in a more literal sense, be a servant of or satisfy Krishna's needs. I don't really understand the latter, since if Krishna is all powerful and opulent, what need could a lowly mortal being(or immortal soul) actually satisfy in Krishna. It seems that the inverse should be true, Krishna should serve the needs of the mortals\incarnated souls since we are the ones lacking, and we always know that energy flows from a state of higher potential to lower potential.
