  1. Look! If a human performs the yoga perfectly and get ontroll over the five winds he can stay alive as much as he practiced ... it may be 200 or 70,000 or till Mahapralay but whats the use he is still trapped under maayaa and still searching for eternal bliss like me and you (ved- anandam brahmo ) may be a little or more powerful then us but both a yogi or an immortal cannot get the eternal bliss from maayaa no matter how much out of body experiences they enjoy.....we are jeev tatwa meaning soul...we are chetan and are therefore searching for the Chaitanya that is Lord Raam Lord Krishna..he is the true eternal bliss (it is not something they posses but what they are) only lord's Kripa Shakti can make maayaa go away for ever. Goswami tulsidas said this about Yog and Gyaan Marg: Sunata Kathin, Samjhata Kathin, Sadhana Kathin hooye... The other guy who has been mocking you is an atheist. I cannot gurantee it though.
  2. What high grounds....man one comment on einstein and this.....u people call ur self hindus?.....man! it was just a joke....and truely I never understood the line I wrote in the previous post..... And as for realization of aatmaa...even that doesn't let u know god....a gyaani who has the bliss of brahma anand will also perish because in his quest for aatmaa gyaan he cross the tatwaa of "Ahankaar" meaning not jealousy but ones true self but he fails to cross "Prakriti" and "Mahaan" tatwas...only through selfless devotion to lord Raam -Krishna one can attain eternal bliss that is Lord Raam - Krishna....because lord shows his Kripa Shakti......Man! have some humor or rumour sense...see>< another bad joke made... "KOH NAHIN JAANATA YEAH JAG MEIN KAPI SANKAT MOCHAN NAAM TIHAARO" Jay Shri Raamachandra...

Many theories given by him were just stupidity .....many morons still trying their wits searching for a master who has answers........ but will never say that the answer is lord SHRI RAAM or Lord Krishna......and instead tell them to search endless materialistic things and to observe how it works just by seeing it work may think he is a GOD or something..... Hinduism has only one main aim GOD REALIZATION....it teaches to get rid of maayaa not to get indulge in it...true since it is kali kaal and every civilization is kneeling down in shit...we can say that people like einstein are blessing to us making our daily life useful and easy........I cannot even think of calling einstein stupid on basics of materialistic sceince .... I was speaking more in spiritual sense....the true sense... forgive my lingo or bad jokes...pls! JAY JAY SHRI RAAM

  7. Lord Jagannath's rath yatra is celebrated all around the world....I am extremely glad to know this. I stay in Puri "Shree Khetra Dham" so I guess I am lucky to see Lord make his yatra with Sri Balvadra and Maa Subhadra to there aunt's house every year. This year's rath yatra was attended by a 9,00,000 devotees of lord Jagannath more than any of the previous rath yatras...it was truly a divine oppurtunity to be there..... The Pandas of the temple escorting lord Balvadra, Subhdara and Jagannath to their chariots....the puri naresh performing the ceremonial rituals by sweepin the raths....thousands of bhakts pulling the raths....etc were all showing that as much kalikaal is growing people are turning towards Lord Jagannath for redemption and for his service Pls visit http://www.Jagannathtemplepuri.com for pictures of this years Rath Yatra
  8. [quote=Pankaja_Dasa]Hare Krishna, We do believe in Diksya Guru, but we believe that Siksa is more important. That is why Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya is called Siksa Parampara. For example.. One disicple has a Diksya Guru, and also may have a Guru who is Siksa Guru. So normally the Diksya Guru will provide both. Sometimes the diksya Guru may not be so qualified. So then the person takes shelter of Siksa Guru. This is reffered to as Divya-jnana (spiritual initiation by Siksa). Because Siksa and Diksya are the same, (GURUS). It is bona-fide.
  9. They do not beleive in diksya Guru. Is this true? and if why? can someone pls say:pray:

  16. Gandhiji's pad yatras and other noble deed was funded by The Birla family of India, they are still one of the richest family of India. True...the man lived his life in strict discipline but so does the modern gurus u spoke to gain publicity...for example swami ram dev..he never wears more than a dhoti and unlike Gandhi he never got married.....all the posters and propogandas in the newspaper didn't come cheap even in the early 1900's...come to sabarmati ashram its not less than a mansion u will like it... I am in no way insulting Gandhiji...he was a noble man and lived his life in purity..I hope... Vaishnava?....he never took diksya from any one...he may have read the Srimad Bhagwat Gita but so does every other aged person in India. Follow him?...where..India got her independence 57 years ago...got no other country to free...may be iraq:) The one who makes u understand what is Brahm...what is mayaa and What is Jeeva tatwa is a guru and should be followed...not some social reformer or freedom fighter....they just need ur physical support.... If u think modern gurus are all fake.....THERE IS ONE WHO WILL NEVER LET U DOWN.....THE GREAT HANUMAN..JAY JAY SHRI RADHEY
  17. There is no gift more sacred than the gift of cows. There is no gift that produces more blessed merit. Vyasa said: Cows constitute the stay of all creatures. Cows are the refuge of all creatures. Cows are the embodiment of merit. Cows are sacred and blessed and are sanctifiers of all. One should never, in even one's heart, do an injury to cows. One should, indeed, always confer happiness on them. Living in a pure state, in the midst of cows, one should mentally recite those sacred Mantras that are known by the name of Gomati, after touching pure water. By doing this, one becomes purified and cleansed. Brahmanas of righteous deeds, who have been cleansed by the knowledge, study of the Vedas, and observance of vows, should, only in the midst of sacred fires or cows or assemblies of Brahmanas, impart unto their disciples a knowledge of the Gomati Mantras which are every way like unto a sacrifice (for the merit they produce). One should observe a fast for three nights for receiving the boon constituted by a knowledge of the import of the Gomati Mantras. The man who is desirous of obtaining a son may obtain one by adoring these Mantras. He who desires the possession of wealth may have his desire gratified by adoring these Mantras. The girl desirous of having a good husband may have her wish fulfilled by the same means. In fact, one may acquire the fruition of every wish one may cherish, by adoring these sacred Mantras. When cows are gratified with the service one renders them, they are, without doubt, capable of granting the fruition of every wish. Even so, cows are highly blessed. They are the essential requisites of sacrifices. They are grantors of every wish. Know that there is nothing superior to cows. Cows are endued with the elements of strength and energetic exertion. Cows have in them the elements of wisdom. They are the source of that immortality which sacrifice achieves. They are the refuge of all energy. They are the steps by which earthly prosperity is won. They constitute the eternal course of the universe. They lead to the extension of one's race. Bhishma said: One should not, by imparting a knowledge of this ritual, benefit a person that is not one's disciple or that is not observant of vows or that is bereft of faith or that is possessed of a crooked understanding. Verily, this religion is a mystery, unknown to most people. One that knows it should not speak of it at every place. There are, in the world, many men that are bereft of faith. There are among men many persons that are mean and that resemble Rakshasas. This religion, if imparted unto them, would lead to evil. It would be productive of equal evil if imparted to such sinful men as have taken shelter in atheism. ___ * (Cows are the mothers of the universe) The human infant is fed breast milk by its human mother for under three years. After weaning, the cow acts as the surrogate mother providing milk for the rest of the human life-through childhood, adult age and old age. Cow is verily the mother of the world. One would be filled with repugnance at the ungrateful idea of killing mother, whether surrogate mother or otherwise.).
  18. I just thaugt of posting this.....I hope it is liked by u readers.. King Kansa was the most absolute and tyrannical monarch of the period; the bare mention of whose name was sufficient to send fear through the hearts of all good and peace-loving people. His sister's name was Devaki upon whom his brother Kansa showered brotherly love. And that is the reason why, on the day of Devaki's marriage to Vasudev, when the time came for Devaki to travel to her husband's house, that king Kansa wanted to drive the carriage himself as a token of his brotherly love. The newly married couple were simple and beautiful, yet noble and majestic to look at. They were really very happy. The royal carriage richly decorated with precious gems and ornaments, was being followed by a large retinue of people wearing colourful gala dresses. Everything was pleasant all round. Suddenly the face of nature changed. The birds stopped singing; the sun was obscured by a cloud; the soft breeze became a howling wind creating dust storms. Ill omens were pointing to imminent danger. An unaccountable fear suddenly gripped the minds of all in the procession. At such a time, an unseen voice, an oracle, was heard from above which said: "Oh you foolish one, whom are you driving so merrily? Would you not know that the eighth issue of her womb shall be the cause of your death?" On hearing this, the terrible Kansa sprang up from his seat, drew his sword, and was about to kill his sister on the spot, had not Vasudev intervened. Falling upon his feet, on behalf of his newly married wife, reminding Kansa that not Devaki but her eighth child would be the cause of his death. So he requested Kansa most humbly, to spare her life, she being fully innocent, and promised, since he had fear from her children, that each and everyone of them would be given over to him. Kansa felt the force of the reason and agreed to the proposal of Vasudev. Besides his newly married bride Devaki, Vasudev had another good wife, named Rohini and with these two loving and dutiful wives he managed to live in peace and comfort. In the course of time, the first male child was born to Devaki. Vasudev, true to his word, sent the news to King Kansa, who sent his servants to fetch the child whom he instantly killed with his own hands. Six children were thus killed by the cruel king, who foolishly wanted to avert the course of fate. In the case of the seventh child, somehow or other the womb appeared to be fruitless, although it was really transferred, through divine agency, from Devaki to Rohini, who in due course of time, brought forth a child that, on account of its transference from one womb to another came to be known by the name of Sankarshana. Now when the time for the birth of her eighth child was approaching, Kansa ordered Vasudeva and Devaki to be cast into his prison, bound with the same chain. Both the wife and husband did not know what to do. Every minute of their lives they called upon their only hope, their only deliverance, God. The solace of the unhappy, ardent prayers proceeding from the very bottom of their souls, incessantly flowed out of their hearts; and the almighty Lord of the universe, in His own mysterious ways, was infilling their souls with infinite power of endurance which kept the fragile vessels of their delicate frames steady and safe in that gloomy and stormy sea of life. For us, there is a lesson to be derived from this. We can draw great comfort from the Gita where the Lord tells us: Ch.8,verse 58-"Fixing your mind on Me, you shall by my grace, overcome all obstacles..." Devaki was about to usher into the world its saviour, and she along with her husband, bewailed her lot and beating her forehead said: "O darling, be not born of me to be smashed to death by the cruel king Kansa". And with this, both Devaki and Vasudeva fell into a swoon. In the gloom of that unconsciousness, suddenly a light flashed, and a beautiful youth of sixteen, holding mace and discus, conch shell and lotus in his four hands, rose above the horizon of their mental firmament, healing all their mental wounds, cheering and exhilarating them with his sweet smile."Father and mother, weep no more. I have come at last to your rescue and to the rescue of all the good people. Open your eyes and see me as your child. Carry me father to the house of your friend Nanda in Gokula. His wife Yashoda has given birth to a daughter just now. Exchange me for that daughter. Bring her back to this prison leaving me on the lap of Yashoda who will be sleeping at the time. Nothing shall bar your path". With these words, the soul-solacing charming youth vanished. When Devaki and Vasudeva opened their eyes, they saw the most charming and beautiful baby ever a parent was blessed with. That was at midnight of Ashtami-Rohini day, the divine baby was born in Prison. The earth and the heavens were filled with joy. Flowers blossomed, rains fell from the sky, peacocks danced, the gods rained flowers, and divine music was heard. Devaki and Vasudeva forgot their miserable condition for a while, looking at the smiling baby playing with its tiny limbs. The mother kissed the sweet face and forgot her danger. Then after a while, they realised the real state of affairs and both the husband and wife shuddered. Then the sweet instructions of the fascinating youth in the vision flashed into their minds. Vasudeva clasped the child at once in his bosom to start for Gokula, but found that his legs were in chains. He did not know what to do. In his haste he gave a jerk, and his legs were released! He sprang upon his feet and ran towards the door of his dungeon. The massive iron-barred doors were locked with three fold locks; but the guards were all asleep, and therefore fearlessly he gave a push forward and the gates were unlocked and flew open of their own accord. The crossing over the river Yamuna was just as miraculous. Vasudeva reached Gokula and to his astonishment found the door of Nanda's house open. He exchanged the babies and hurried back to the prison of Kansa. Early in the morning, all the people at Gokula came to know that a beautiful male child, a prince had been born the previous night at midnight to Nanda's wife, and their simple hearts were filled with unbounded joy.

  21. For the devotional purpose and for the realization of God’s love for all the souls of the world, there are only two descensions (Ram and Krishn) in which the supreme God has descended in His full Divine dignity and in His same name and form as His seen in His Divine abode. Bhagwan Ram. Bharatvarsh was glorified with the descension of Bhagwan Ram which happened in the tretayug about 18.144 million years ago. The Bhagwatam (9/11/18) tells that Bhagwan Ram lived for thirteen thousand years. But, in fact, He is always with His humble devotees as He is eternally omnipresent. In His eternal Divine abode, Saket, along with His consort Goddess Sita, and His brothers Lakchman, Bharat and Shatrughn He always rejoices His Devotees. To reveal the same Bliss of Saket abode for the souls of the world, Bhagwan Ram descended and appeared in the palace of King Dashrath in front of His mother Kaushalya. When He appeared He was in His full youthful form and in His absolute Divine glory. Tulsidas describes the childhood leelas of Ram in detail. Then he tells about the wedding of Ram and His other three brothers. But, all through the Ramayan, the image of Bhagwan Ram, whatever he portrays, is exceedingly marvelous and befitting to His Divine dignity. King Janak, who was always absorbed in the Bliss of the nirakar brahm, when the first time he saw Ram, became overwhelmed with the Blissfulness of His Divine beauty. He said, "My mind has ceased relishing on the formal Bliss of formless brahm and my heart is thrilled seeing the all-exceeding loving beauty of Ram’s Divine personality.” Several descended Saints have written the leelas of Bhagwan Ram, and the descriptions of all of them are mostly on the same lines. The dedication of Lakchman, the devotion of Bharat, the adoration of Hanuman and the affection of all the people of Ayodhya for Bhagwan Ram are such facts that naturally represent His loving kindness and His causeless Graciousness upon all the souls. Sage Valmiki, in the last section of his Ramayan, tells that when Bhagwan Ram was leaving Ayodhya and was going to ascend to His Divine abode, all the people of Ayodhya including the birds and the animals also followed Him and ascended to His Divine abode along with Him. This Divine historical event proves that during the descension period of Ram all the people of Ayodhya were the descended Divine personalities who had come from Saket abode to associate with and to become a part of the leelas of Bhagwan Ram. Tulsidas says in the Ramayan that once Bhagwan Ram called for the people of Ayodhya and gave a discourse telling about the greatness of bhakti and the remembrance of the Divine name which easily eliminates the bondage of maya, reveals the Divine Grace, and makes the soul Blissful forever. Bhagwan Krishn. A Divine breeze permeated the entire brahmand with the descension of supreme God Krishn. His mother Deoki saw Him in His absolute Divine glory, lovingly smiling and standing in front of her in His full youthful form. In the meantime celestial gods and goddesses along with Brahma and Shiv came, sang homage to Krishn and returned to their abodes. Krishn then became like a day-old baby. Deoki and Vasudeo were imprisoned by the demon Kans, the King of Mathura, because a celestial warning had informed him that the eighth son of Deoki would be his destroyer. But when Krishn appeared, a tiny touch of His Divine power shattered the defense system of the jail: locks broke, watchmen went into deep sleep, gates opened and all the restrictions were eliminated. The flooding Yamuna river gave way to Vasudeo so that he could safely transport baby Krishn to his relative Nand Baba’s house which was in Gokul and on the other side of river Yamuna. Thus, Krishn first descended in Mathura and on the same night He came to Gokul. He appeared on the eighth waning moon night of bhadon (August) in Rohini Nakchatra (asterism) in 3228 BC. The next day, at the house of Nand Baba and Yashoda all the Brajwasis came together to join the most joyous celebration of Krishn’s birthday. God Shiv also came rushing to Gokul to see the innocent loving smile of baby Krishn, and, in this way, from the very first morning of His descension on the earth planet, His playful Divine loving leelas started. From that day on, every day in Braj was a joyous celebration and every moment in Braj was an experience of Krishn’s ever-new and ever-increasing love that encharmed the heart of every Brajwasi. As Krishn grew, the field of His playful activities expanded and reached almost all over Braj. That’s how everywhere in Braj there are leela places which are the inspirations for the devotees that remind them of the presence of Krishn in Braj. In those places a temple or a pond, or both, have been made to represent the liveliness of the leela which Krishn did over there. There are hundreds of such leela places in Braj. The devotees of Radha Krishn adore these places and, trying to feel the Divine presence of Radha Krishn, they enhance their feelings of love and longing when they visit those places. When Krishn was only five years old He Graced the Brajwasi girls of similar age who were collectively worshipping Goddess Katyayani with a desire to become the sweethearts of Krishn. At the age of seven, Krishn did the Govardhan leela and at the age of eight years He did maharas. During the Govardhan leela, to save the Brajwasis from the severe cloudburst caused by Indra, Krishn lifted and held the Govardhan hill, and all the Brajwasis lived together with Krishn for seven days under that hill. It was so exciting to live with Krishn, day and night, for seven days, which only those could imagine who were in that group. Maharas leela happened in Vrindaban in Braj. It was the descension of the true Vrindaban Bliss on the earth planet when the Grace of Krishn established Divine Vrindaban on the soils of Braj; and, in that Divine space, Shree Raseshwari Radha Rani, Who is the life-essence of Krishn’s all-greatness, revealed the most intimate Divine Bliss to all the Gopis on the Sharat Poornima night. On that particular night, Radha, Krishn and all the Gopis sang, danced and played together in an extremely elevated Divine state which is only seen in Divine Vrindaban. That was maharas. It was so great that Brahma couldn’t imagine the depth of its Blissful superiority, Shiv experienced it but He was unable to explain it in words, Maha Lakchmi desired for it but She couldn’t receive it and Maha Vishnu knew that its description was beyond the Divine language of the Vedas. So, in the Samrahasyopnishad, Maha Vishnu says, “O Lakchmi! Listen! The greatness of Vrindaban Bliss is so great that I am unable to describe it… Those Saints who live in the abode of Brahma and Shiv do not understand this. My bhaktas also do not understand the greatness of Vrindaban leelas. Only those who receive the Grace of Shree Radha Rani understand and experience Vrindaban Bliss, and no one else.” Radha had descended in Braj a year earlier than Krishn. She appeared in Her absolute Divine dignity and glorified the palace of King Vrishbhanu in Barsana. Kirti was Her mother. All the celestial gods and goddesses and Brahma, Shiv and Narad came and sang the glory of Radha Rani. Radha always lived in Barsana. Whereas Nand Baba and others, after a few years of Krishn’s appearance, had moved from Gokul to Nandgaon because the demons of Kans were causing a lot of disturbance over there. Nandgaon and Barsana are only four miles apart. So, most of the leelas of Radha and Krishn happened around there. Later on Krishn went to Mathura and then to Dwarika; but, Radha still stayed in Barsana, and, when Krishn ascended to Golok, at the same time Radha and all other Brajwasis also ascended to Golok. Although the whole of Braj is the leela place of Krishn but three places are most important: Barsana, Vrindaban and Govardhan. Barsana is important because the sovereign of Gopis’ hearts, and the soul of Krishn Radha, always lived there. Vrindaban is famous because maharas leela happened over there, and Govardhan is the place where Krishn did most of His playful leelas with His playmates (called Gwalbal) while grazing the cows. After eleven years of age Krishn went to Mathura, eliminated demon Kans and made Ugrasen the King of Mathura. Later on He went to Dwarika, married Rukmini (Who was the descension of Maha Lakchmi) and lived there up till His ascension to Golok. During that time He helped the Pandavas, taught Gita to Arjun and assisted him in fighting the Mahabharat war. Before His ascension Uddhao came to Him. Krishn gave Uddhao all the philosophical and devotional teachings. They are fully described in the eleventh canto of the Bhagwatam. Krishn called for Arjun and advised him to take the people of Dwarika to a safer place because immediately after His ascension a sea deluge was going to destroy Dwarika. Dwaparyug had ended, Krishn ascended to His Divine abode in 3102 BC, and kaliyug started. There is a reference in the Garg Sanhita (Ashvamedh Khand, chapter 60/21-25) that first Krishn disappeared from Dwarika and came to Braj, then, at the time of actual ascension of Krishn, a Divine figure, Who was Vishnu of this brahmand, came out of Krishn’s body and went to His own abode. Then Maha Vishnu and Maha Lakchmi emerged from Krishn and They went to Vaikunth abode; and then, Krishn and Radha along with Brajwasis, went to Golok abode. This statement further clarifies this situation that Vishnu and Maha Vishnu, as a subordinate Divine power, reside within the personality of Krishn. The leelas of Krishn are described in the tenth canto of the Bhagwatam which has ninety chapters. They could be categorized as: (1) Braj leela, (2) nikunj leela, and(3) Dwarika leela. Braj leela is where all the Brajwasis join; nikunj leela is where there are only Radha, Krishn and the Gopis; and Dwarika leela refers to all the activities of Krishn when He went to Dwarika and lived there. Dwarika leela has a touch of almightiness along with the lovingness of Krishn and that makes it totally separate from the braj and the nikunj leelas; whereas the braj and the nikunj leelas are the absolute experiences of Krishn’s intimate loving Bliss that He gave to His playmates, mother Yashoda and the Gopis, and where the Divine almightiness can never enter. Krishn has three Divine abodes: Dwarika, Golok and Divine Vrindaban. Rukmini Krishn are in Dwarika, and Radha Krishn are in Golok and Divine Vrindaban. Dwarika leelas are related toDwarika abode, and braj and nikunj leelas are related to Golok and Divine Vrindaban. It is beyond imagination how much Radha Krishn have Graced us. They descended only 5,227 years ago. They revealed such loving leelas that fascinated even God Shiv and Goddess Parvati and Maha Lakchmi. All of this They did only for us so that the eternally miserable souls could also receive the same Bliss of maharas which is beyond the reach of Brahma and which is earnestly desired by God Shiv. But see the people of this world whose kaliyug-affected minds still criticize and allegorize the leelas of Krishn. You must know that such doings are extreme transgressions, and as such, a lover of Sanatan Dharm should discard such diabolical publications, which, even in the least, criticize, allegorize and degrade the absolute Divinity of Bhagwan Ram and Sita or Radha and Krishn and Their Divine leelas, or dispute the Divine eternity of the Vedas, Upnishads and the Puranas, and the eternal Sages and Saints. You should remember that the Divine dignity of Bhagwan Ram and Krishn and Their loving leelas are the soul of Sanatan Dharm.
  22. Sorry!...I don't...but soon I will....then I guess u will stop insulting Maharajji.
  23. The first tribal migration in the world. After the ascension of Krishn, kaliyug started and a fierce sea deluge destroyed Dwarika. Much before that the chatriyas of Bharatvarsh (India) had been going out to settle in other countries and to have their own domain. However, there is a big question in the minds of certain intellectuals that how did the migration of the tribes start in the world? When they try to probe into the migration problem, the scanty historical information prior to 3500 BC, and then a dead stop caused by the latest ice age, obscures the situation. However, the scriptures give a reference to this situation and explain that the existing human civilization was re-established by Vaivaswat Manu 120.533 million years ago on the plains of the Ganges. We had the same Puranas, Gita and the Bhagwatam all the time. When the population increased and stretched towards the Indus Valley and the eastern side of India, the prideful youths, desirous of conquering new lands and territories, spread out all over Asia, Middle East and also Europe. This could have happened before the last ice age and would have kept on happening even prior to the Mahabharat war. The Manu Smriti gives a brief account of such a tribal movement when these prideful people went out of India and settled in the other parts of the continent long ago. It says, "Because of the non-association of the Vedic teachings of India, the people of Dravid, Kamboj, Shak (central Asia), China, Yavan and Parad (Gulf countries) etc., became worldly and lost their original Indian culture.” When they left India they had our locally spoken Sanskrit language with them and the stories of the Puranas and our religious customs were also in their minds. But the prolonged lapse of time and no social and spiritual relations with India made them forget India and they all started their new culture and religion and also a new style of language. In this way a number of cultures started in the world whose remote prime origin was India (Bharatvarsh)."
