Dear Mark, My friend hails from a middle class family.Her parent's marriage was a love marriage without their parent's consent.And so her parent's relationship with their parents is not that good.She completed her post graduation in 2003.After that she got job in a firm.She fall in love with a guy there and everyone thought that they will get married.But the guy's parents were not in favour of this and so he had to left her after 2 years of strong relationship( i say it was strong because i am their common friend).This happened last year in may.She is yet to recover from this.Now her parents are looking for proposals. I came to read about this from one blog. varahamihira.blogspot.com/2004/10/marriage-compatibility.html I am giving the content in the site here.It was given as one factor when matching horoscopes 19. Chittanukulya: God's will This is the over-riding power of God and when two people are in love, the chart matching becomes meaningless, as there is the will of God in this. If they are normal people then their affection should be tested with time and if one is spiritual then his/her falling in love for marriage and children has a divine purpose and is beyond the normal rules of Jyotish compatibility. In this case, since the couple has expressed their love for each other, they should be encouraged to enter wedlock. can anyone threw more light on this?

Dear all, I am in great confusion and sorrow.The problem is with my horoscope. Some people say that i am manglik and some say i am not.Some say that marriage compatibility is calculated only based on lagna and some say that positions from moon are also considered. There is mars and venus in 8th position from moon (moon chart)in Mesha in my horoscope . My birth details ---------------- 29-03-1983 13.50(1.50)pm Pathanamthitta kerala do i have mangal dosha?My marriage is fixed.He is said to have mangal in his 7th house in cancer and saturn in 8th house.Astrologers we consulted told us that saturn is not that harmful.i have a few questions, 1)Is marriage compatibility based on lagna or moon? 2) If ascending is capricorn and if mangal is in 7th(cancer--where it is said to be debiliated) with jupiter in 6th. is there no mangal dosha? 3)In my horoscope mars is with venus in moon chart,what is the effect of this?
