Hello Kanupriya, Please continue your upasana of chinnamasta mahavidya. There is no greater good to be obtained from any other upasana. Mostly the sadhana should be performed between 10pm and 12pm. One way to avoid sleeping during your pooja is to time your dinner early and this way you can finish the pooja starting at 10pm and goto bed right after. Hope this helps!
