Dear friends,
I am looking for a true yoga master that understand all 8 limbs of yoga not only in theory but in practise and who can demonstrate such things as levitation and other siddhis. I know a lot of people say or think that if they demonstrate these things that it is a distraction to the goal of yoga. However I would argue that many people practise yoga and many people know its theory but few people can demonstrate siddhis. In following a teacher that can guide you to the true path how does one discern that the man of theory is the one to choose vs the man who has theory and practise such as demonstrated by one with siddhis. I am not looking for a teacher that is focused on siddhis but rather one that can demonstrate them at will in order to motivate a studnet in the path of yoga. I look forward to your replies and please do not argue the point. I am looking for a yoga teacher so please do not post any criticisms unless you also have a yoga teacher that you mention in your reply that has siddhis and also is accessible.
