In my experience a quick remedy for dealing with negative thoughts is focus. Focus your self by meditating, chanting or even listening to devotional songs or music. That's it. When your mind is focused in such things, automaticly you will feel some positive energies in you. I feel it in form of believe in god and me. I believe 'he' won't let me down; won't ignore me. So, i believe 'him', believe me and then anything that-s negative will vanish just like that. Try your self.
