It appears that what Isha (Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev) teaches is not traditional Shambhavi Mahamudra.

Soundarya Lahari is a powerful mantra. It should be chanted with devotion and complete faith and surrender to Mother. Early morning 4 am is a good time. Whatever you desire and ask for it (as part of sankalpa), She will bestow you. I had chanted the slokas early morning 4 am and with in a few days, all my problems were resolved. I can vouch for power of mantra japa on any given day.
