Yesterday's free will is todays destiny, todays free will is tommorow's destiny and so on. If one feels that one is bound by destiny then it means that ones free will is not presently utlized so as to overcome destiny. Intrinsically Free Will is more powerful than destiny. However as we do not know the intensity of our past actions (destiny) we conclude that free will is powerless against destiny.

I had the opportunity to read portions of Bhavishya Purana (forming part of 18 puranas written by Vedya Vyasa). In that purana the advent of Prophet the Mohamed ["Mahamad"], and advent of Adam and Eve, ["Adamam and Hevayavathi] is predicted in detail. Interested persons can just type Bhavishya Purana in internet search for more details.

I want to expereience with you all what I have read about Kalki Bhagwan in various Internet Sites. In one of the interviews, he has specifically said that he has never claimed himself to be the "Kalki Avatar" as understood by ordinary hindus. That Avatar is the avatar of Maha Vishnu and will come towards the end of Kali Yuga, wihich is 427,000 human years from now. However he claims that the next 10,000 or so years represent the golden time within the Kali Yuga. After this 10,000 years, the full effects of Kali will begin to manifest. Morespecifically he says that between June 2004 to June 2012, it is his mission to provide "enlightnement" to 64,000 human beings. The sanctity of 64,000 is that it roughly will correspond to 1 enlightened person per 100,000 in this earth. The power of enlightened person is so great that if he acheives 64,000 persons then it will be enough to enlighten the whole of humanity. With respect to dates; ie June 2004 to June 2012, it has something to do with Venus transit etc. Interestingly June 2012 is also the date given by "Mayan" calendar as the date of end of karmic cycle. According to him enlightment is a neuro biological concept which all human beings can receive irrespective of their social or spiritual inclinattions. Enlightment means non identification with the limited ego self. Not that we no longer will have emotions or feelings, but just that we will be aware that these emotions or feelings like anger, depression, elation happiness etc are just temporary phases that we are experiencing, we no longer get entangled by them. Not all people will have full enlightenment (complete cessation from duality)immediately and it depends the persons inner tendencies of the past etc. Howeever all persons will receive a basic jolt in consciouness levels and will experience some sort of disconnection with ego / mind entanglement. Enlightment will be transferred through "Diksha" process. I am not sure how long this process is. But internet sites tell us that for 21 day retreat it would cost USD 5,200 per person inclusive of all living expenses. This is my rough understanding after reading through many internet sites.

I do not know about other puranas, but I just typed Bhavishya Purana and the net gave me various sites which had english translations of it

In my humble opinion, great masters always have guided humanity from time to time. Be it Ramakrishna Pramahamsa or Chaintanya Mahaprabhu or Adi Sankaracharya, the the final purpose has always been to help individual souls attain freedom from bondage. The methods prescribed by various masters are for the specific time and age. Our objective should be not to compare and judge the relative greatness of the past masters or their school of thoughts, but rather benefit from them and progress individually. Always remember that the ultimate goal of all spiritual seeker is not to establish the greatness of ones own doctrine but the transcend the material bondage and be eternally free. This bigger picture should not be lost.
