brother, you had not mentioned the place of your birth so i have taken it to be as sri lanka as the location.
it's definitely a very good idea of yours to meditate you can meditate on anything you like but my friend just keep that in mind that you are running through a period in which you will get angry on things quite fast... so its better for you to search for cool god to meditate upon like om, idol of shiva, buddha etc...
and along with good meditation just be aware of your company of friends try to be with more saatvic people
