Sat Nam, Ladies I have been taught that during the moon cycle (first 2 days) or if the student feels not so good in the particular posture - let the student to relax and just be in the space where the group energy will heal him. If the practitioner does his sadhana and it happens to be he is not able one day to keep up but he doesn't want to break 40 days practice - one can relax in any meditative pose and visualize exercise (or even whole kriya) for the whole time.
