Swami Dayananda Saraswati blessed and released Sarma Sastrigal's book in English titlled THE GREAT HINDU TRADITION. The book has an insight into Vedic principles, Sastras and Heritage. The was well received both within India and abroad.

Why not? Sastras do permit marriages between Iyers and Iyengars. In fact, nowadays we come across several such marriages taking plae. And I myself have performed such few of them Sarma Sastrigal
