Directly from the site. And I've been a "friend" of his on there for about five months! I think someone is trying to pull a fast one on us just to engage in a little more creative guru-bashing. I've never met the guy but he seems nice and decent to me. Just leave him alone. Let's try to be civil. it is supposed to be a Hindu forum afterall.
  2. I was meditating on a photo of the feet of Amma that some of her devotees gave me. Isn't Amma the incarnation of the Divine Mother for this age? She does hug a lot of people. Otherwise, I don't think she actually teaches anything. Isn't she illiterate? Should I pray to Sai Baba instead? Isn't he an avatar? I've heard that he at least is capable of giving a talk once in a while. And he's thinner than Amma (more avatar-like, no?). But isn't he a child molester or something? I tried meditating on him a few years ago, but I always had nightmares after. I wish I could experience the joy that is supposed to happen with meditation.
  3. I don't perform japa. I have a large colour photo of Sri Ammachi's lotus feet on my altar, and I meditate on that. But when I do, I don't really feel any joy. And I get very thirsty. I don't know why. Any thoughts?
  4. When you don't enjoy meditating as much as most others, is it wise to not meditate, to continue, or to stop, or not?
  5. no no. He was definitely God. But I don't know if he was a saint. Maybe, but maybe not.
  6. I didn't get shivers when my kundalini rose. So I don't think that's it.
  7. Ramadasa

    Radio Sai

is it possible to hear radiosai in north america?
  8. Wow! I don't know what this person's talking about. Just saw it. I need to apologize because my name's Ramadasa...I guess!?! I just liked this guy's article. He's not my guru!! Please don't accuse me or other people of stuff, "guest".
  9. this article's been circulating among devotee's a lot. Its a really good article. I don't know if I agree with his interpretation of Hinduism though. Prabhupada said we're not Hindus. There polytheists. Still I understand his point about hodge-podge though. I know a lot of senior Prabhupada disciples and ISKCON intellectuals really love the article. They've said some good things. I've read some extremely positive reviews of it. Thanks for the good read! Hari bol!
