PAMHO AGTSP!! The answer to this question is quite important, there is only one qualified guru/acharya and that is Sirla Prabhupada! We are supposed to be his desciples, and follow what he said. Just before Srila prabhupada left this world he said, "there is no need to change anything", therefore we can see Srila Prabhupada is to remain Jagad Guru! PAMHO AGTSP!!! In answer to your question its called the Sunday feast and held on a sunday, simply because that is the way that Srila Prabhupada set up Krishna conciousnes in the western world! I think because the west was Christian dominated, and it was normal to worship on a sunday, it was so much more easier for us to adapt to it! Hope this answers your questions! Your servant...
