  1. Hi folks, I just discovered that I have lime disease and I don't have insurance and I don't want to go the conventional root anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions about any natural treatments for lime disease or do I just have to suck it up and get some strong antibiotics? thanks, jason
  2. I just wanted to say I just started making tea with pure St. John's wort and it has really helped to keep me relaxed in very stressful situations. I just started using it but so far I am very encouraged with the results. I tried taking it in a pill form many years ago and there was no tangible shift in consciousness. But when used in making an herbal tea there is an immediate calming sensation that pervades your entire mind and body which personally I find to be very soothing. Is this not the goal of every anti-anxiety treatment. Anyhow, I just wanted to provide some food for thought and suggest to any entrepreneurs out there that you could make a ton of money out of mass production of St. John' Wart tea, potentially. Of course the government will probably outlaw it as soon as it gains any legitimacy as a threat to the pharmaceutical monopoly. Anyhow, I just wanted to provide some food for thought on potential solutions.
  3. Hare Krishna, There are thousands of devotees all over the world in the mental health profession, but not much help available to devotees or aspiring devotees. It would be nice if you could go to Chakra and get a list of available therapists/psychiatrists. I know I have struggled with medication for years. I don't even know, are there success stories in ISKCON? Devotees who have greatly benefited from taking an anti-anxiety or anti-psychotic medication? It would be nice if we as a society could collect such data and be able to give everyone the best advice possible. Anyway, sorry for rambling on. I wish I could tell you I've found a wonder drug. But the closest thing to that was serving in the Krishna Lunch program. That was euphoria. If only I had stayed longer.
