  1. really unnecessary and avoidable confusion is created in the minds of devotees.

Sage Valmiki referred him as कृष्ण in sanskrit, and we are worrying about its spelling in English!!. People get confused in pronuncing KRSNA as KRISHNA. These spellings are for literary critics only. Let us, like other folks, stick to Krishna.

  2. "d) How long is the next journey after reincarnation ?

Madhava: While commenting on Garuda purana my teacher

    told me that

    birth is

swift and immediate. It takes four months (to be a

part of a rice plant)soul enters in to the human body

as the food consumed. It is difficult to

explain but definitely nobody hangs in the ether or

sky. They are born within no time. Droped as rain

and sucked by roots, or breathed from air

through plant leaves, it starts with vegitation. At

    the lowest level of nature"

I am with sri Raghavarao in most of what he said.

But,it takes atleast one year for the soul to find a womb, and reincarnate.

that's why, religious rites are prescribed for one year, so that the soul settles its mind, recognises it's soul form and tne need for rebirth, then chooses it's parents.

  3. I just chanced on the discussion. If as per jeffster "If that soul came into contact with Lord Rama, that meeting could be not other than auspicious for that soul. Just as all those who died within sight of Lord Krishna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra attained liberation.

If that is true, there should be somebody in this present age too, and by coming in contact with him, we can easily attain mukti. Is there one?-prasad.sh
