1. Because that is not my goal - my goal is to obtain personal testimonies. Reading a book about hinduism will only aid me in my research of hinduism, which I have also been doing. However, that does not help me in the manner that I am seeking with this post.
2. Hello,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:" /> Hello, My name is Mark, and I am attempting to write a book about religion; focusing on the culture, experiences, and beliefs surrounding all various kinds of religion. I want to write about what people believe, their lifestyles, and what turned them on to religion in the first place. I am currently collecting submissions from people explaining any or all of these things. I have managed to gather a great deal of submissions from Christians, Catholics, Mormons, Muslims, Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Buddhists, and now I am looking to make contact with more than a few members of the Hindu community. I am hoping that I can work with some of you from this site in order to add some Hindu testimonies to my book so that I can appropriately represent your faith. If you would prefer, I can also do a simple Q&A, which will be much less writing for you. I originally posted this in the Marketplace Forum, but it was suggested that I post here as well in order to make contact with more of you. I hope to communicate with as many of you as possible via this thread and personal messaging. Please let me know if you have any questions and if you are interested in working with me. Kind regards, Mark
3. OK, last post. I thought your avator was great, hence my calling you Skippy. Hope you didn't mind! Now I'll finally look into moving this thread over.
4. Forgot to add my apology for being so late in responding to your post. I have been busy writing and haven't been on the site in a few weeks.
5. Thanks Skippy! I'd like to discuss this more with you, either through messaging here or over email. My email is realwriting@hotmail.com. Thanks, Mark
