  1. Hello, All by chance I came across this article. My fellow friend I would like to correct you here. In the etiology of joint pains – none of ayurvedic doctors have known that the disease begins as rheumatic arthritis and converts to gout and sandhi vaat, as written by you. In fact all three are different and have different etiologies and the treatment procedures involved also differs. The rheumatic arthritis, known as “aam vaat” has its own etiology and the gout or the “vaat rakta” and “sandhi vaata”(osteo arthritis) are different. Kindly make the corrections and also do update the knowledge before making such statements. - Thanks Dr.amit
