Hi I am unable to understand effects of detrimental venus for Capricorn lagna. I will appreciate your thoughts, and suggestions on how to read the chart. Venus is a yogakaraka for Capricorn lagna as it is the lord of 5th and 10th house. If this Venus is placed in 4th house in aries, it is said to be in detriment. My confusion is on the two points below - which one of them is true??? 1. Yogakaraka in kendra, i.e. in 4th house is considered excellent. So Venus mahadasha for the native will be excellent. Is this true? 2. Yogakaraka is in detriment i.e. in Aries, so Venus mahadasha for the native will be ok to average. Is this true? Thank you Confused S

I am still learning the concept of arudhas. I am surprised to know that even if the moon is debilitated, the chart can be assessed from chandra lagna. I am unable to fully comprehend though if it is good to have those 6 planets in 2 kendras - because it involves the rahu-ketu axis. (you said whooping - which i assume u meant as good) Does the debilitated moon affect for lifetime, or is it based on dashas?

In fact, for a person with debilitated moon, we will never see his or her rashi (moon) chart..is that correct? We should then always read a chart from the lagna and never from the moon, as ascendant would always be stronger than the moon sign. Reading from saravali confuses me all the more: 51. I have not read all scriptures or other books, but I believe in that Krishna knows it all. He has decided your destination, and given you the option to pick your path. Yes Pabloji, I am the same girl, I had queried if I should switch my career from technical to non-technical mangent-related field. I am wearing emerald, blue sapphire and jarkan. Thank you Pablo ji, Unanth ji. My mars is in 10th from the moon and the moon is at 12 degrees scorpio. Mars in fact has a 4th aspect on moon. So I undertsand from your above posts is that debilitation is reduced but is not cancelled. Namashkar gurujis I have been told that my horoscope shows a complete lack of interpersonal skills. I am born in anuradha nakshatra, which I think is a good nakshtra for friendships. I am very keen to know which planet signifies my lack of interpersonal skills. Also, moon in scorpio is considered debilitated, then howcome anuradha nakshatra is considered very good with respect to balance in relationships. I just wanted to add that I too am makara lagna with rahu, jupiter and mars in 8th house, and no stability in career. Ppena ji, A related query - Is it advisable to wear the gemstone irrespective of the position of the lord of the 10th house? Like, for makara lagna, whether venus is placed in 4th or in 6th, should the native be advised to wear diamond? Does the position of a planet in D-9 or D-10 matter in the above case? Regards SoGo

I know now where my weakness lies, and I will try to work hard on that. I understand 3 things from your interpretation: I lack interpersonal skills. I will have enemies. I will quite often run into financial troubles. My questions: 1. What does - Venus being a yogakaraka, and situated in 4th house and aspecting 10th house - signify wrt career? If I survive the ongoing ketu dasha, should the next venus dasha be good for career? 2. Mercury and Saturn enter into a parivarthan yog (2nd and 9th house) - does this not help in business management career? I will be currently entering merucry antardasha, I think it is a good time for taking mba exam. Am I wrong? 3. Moon is debilitated in 11th house but has 6 points in ashtakvarga. Mars (lord of 11th house) aspects moon. Does this lower the effects of debilitation? 4. Jupiter is the lord of 3rd and 12th, and is situated in 8th house, causing VRY. Jupiter also aspects the 12th house. Jupiter, all over being a benefic planet, should this not help in career? 5. Also, Mercury (lord of 6th house) is conjunct with Sun (lord of 8th house) - both of them together in 2nd. I think it is said that the 2 functional malefics cancel the effects of each other, and hence cause a form of VRY. Is that correct? Should this help me avoid financial troubles? Hello Deepaji Thank you much for your analysis! I am a little confused though, as my work life experience has been quite different: I have switched jobs whenever I have been bound by the upper management, and not given enough freedom to try out new things or take calculated risks. I have found myself quite an independent worker. I have stepped up in my role quite a few times (unofficially though) and been successful in leading large projects and in mentoring people. Given the above, I decided to pursue mba to get more exposure in business administration and hone my management skills as well develop leadership qualities. What remedy do you recommend wrt career? I do agree that I do not have a strong mind when it comes to relationships, and am quite emotional in my personal life (may be thats why I am an unmarried female till date ) What do you think could be leading to this difference - what I have gone through vs. what my chart shows?
