Cast system in India is very old and strong. If Buddhism which was told as anti cast tradition was ruled India, why casts still exists? How is it possible?
Indians always like to mix all philosophies wont believe anyone blindly (may be because they aware of other philosophies too).. That is what happened in olden days too.. Typical Indian still accept Buddha got moksha/no next life to him. Same time Shiva/Vishnu/Allah etc... cast system has nothing to do with philosophy even with so called Hindu philosophy. It was happened in Indian society same as slavery happened in Europe. Slavery/Cast system are result of politics of olden days same as today. What happening today politicians are dividing people as much as possible to keep them under control and rule them
