B] ADVERTISMENTS & CAMPAIGNS:

## Makar Sankranti - A festival celebrated in India, by flying kites.

But kite flying is dangerous to birds and humans alike. The thread which

is used for flying kite is coated with glass powder. It can hurt flying

birds. Before this day PAWS volunteers Mansi, Sonali, Darshak & Bhavesh

put-up posters all over the city. We whole heartedly thank Advertising

Company for their sponsorship of 150 posters across the city & also for

designing unique styles. Here is the link of photos uploaded on orkut.

## Holi Festival - As per tradition, a day prior to 'Holi' festival,

Marathi people burn fire wood in the premises of their locality /

society. So we had a quick campaign against tree-cutting. We took

printouts of specially-made posters & pasted them in our society /

building / colonies notice board.

For this campaign more then 25 volunteers gathered together at PAWS

office for sticking posters across city. Media coverage was given to

create awareness.
