Well said bharat. Thank you for this. Rajesh(toronto)Bharat Hindu Astrology <hinduastrology wrote: Namaskaar Sri SunitPast Karmas resultant is current destiny and present karmas resultant is future destiny. There are many types of karmas that one can choose to perform. Some increase the resultant destiny in one area and some do the opposite. The results are in the hands of the Lord. In such a dynamic scenario, Jyotish has laid its principles to know the nature of the person and time the possibility of events. If you see the list of qualities needed in an astrologer in our shastras, you'd be surprised that even the best do not fit into it. Besides all these factors, I have seen Sri Ash predict successfully the death of a distant cousin of mine in a puzzle that I had put. Furthermore, he predicted that

Karunya would not be able to win the Indian Idol 2 contest and gave reasons for it. And these two are predictions since I have joined in about two weeks or so back in Astrologyandtimingevents group. If I come to other astrologers, I have seen brilliant predictions been made. What I do not understand is - when astrologers go wrong.. why does all hell break loose? My father is a National Awardee and a scientist. He failed many a times in inventing the things. I have failed many a times in neural network analysis of speech. No one calls our subjects as failures. It is surprising people want 100% results and I wonder in which scientific field do they get them: 1. Space agency Nasa has failed many a times with huge loss of life. My family friend's cousin Kavita Chawla was amongst them.2. Thousands of patients lose their lives at the hands of doctors when wrong treatment is given or because of the fact that they have no clue. These are just two examples, but

then airplanes crash, trains collide, cars burn out, airconditioners stop cooling, batteries explode, cylinders burst, and only the Lord knows what cannot go wrong. I, therefore, request everyone in all groups not to indulge in mud slinging on Astrology. Failure is a part of science and it propels one to research one's methods again and again and again. Astrology, just like all other subjects, have helped millions of people and will keep doing so if each one lets astrologers do their research. There is hope that my words are not taken in the wrong way. Kindly study Astrology and realize its importance. Thanks and RegardsBharat On 5/3/06, Sunit Kholia <sunitkholia1 wrote: Hi,You are dead right. Astrology is actually something that discusses the past. It can never predict future. I have also been studying astrology but haven't came across a single person in my life who can predict the future correctly. I have talked to so many so called big name astrologers, but none of them have ever been able to give me any clue about what is going to happen in future. It is foolish to bang your head in the field of astrology. If astrology had been true then there would never have been a praise of Geeta or emphasis on Karma, everything would have been Bhagya. I have also read those messages regarding Late Mr. Pramod Mahajan. They all are trageting the arrow in the complete darkness and guess what if they hit, they say they have done wonders. Go by your mind, it is time now that you should come up of this and emphasis on the great Sidhanta of Geeta that is Karma Yoga. Kalyuga is all about Karma and

Karmayogi.Thanx and warm regards,A friend of yours
