Dear Shri Sreenadh

It will be interesting to look at the astrological and philosophical

meaning of Onam.

Who is Bali - Why he was tested -Why the sacrifice - what is

Patla-What is Swarga -Who is Indra to name a few.I am just thoring

some seeds for a brain storm. The random thouhgts that came to mind.

Who is asura - who is deva - What is the supreme sacrifice

mentioned/expected - which king comes once in a year (which rashi).

I hope learned members will share.

I don't have as much info to present a scholarly paper on the same

right now. If others start commenting on the same, I too will share my

views.
