Guru & Shani Transit Effects...

Dear Sanjay P,

Thank you for explaining use of Ashtakavarga in transits. I am getting 4

points in Cancer PAV of Saturn in Prakash's chart. I am attaching the chart.

Am I making a mistake?

Dear Prakash and List Members,

Here is a simple way to find how a transit into is going affect your

life.

Cast your chart in any software, Like for example in Jagannatha Hora

Lite. And then take the Prastaara Ashtakavarga of the planet who's

transit you want to analyse for example if you want to find the

effect of Jupiter transit in Virgo. Right Click on the Ashtakavarga

panel in 'Basics' Tab and select 'Show PAV of Jupiter' you should see

the layout of points contributed for each sign.

For example in Prakash's chart in PAV of Jupiter we have Ju, Ma, Mo,

& Me contributing in Vi.

So the Transit Jupiter will be good for his natal "Ju, Ma, Mo, & Me"

so Kaarakatwa and houses lorded by those planets will get Jupiter's

good. Since he gets 4 out of maximum 8 points It's overall a average

score.

Similary for Saturn he has just two points contributed by "Sa, Mo,

Su" in Cancer PAV of Saturn, so overall its below average score in

numerics but since the Saturn is contributing a Good score to Moon it

indicates some relieve to mind from Sade-Sathi.

I have a doubt in this regard.

Do we have to ascertain the movement whether is good or bad from Moon and then

use the principle given below to identify the intensity of the evil or good

done by each planet?
