priya Sriman Ramlal C.

Jai Srimannaryaana!

Happy for your questions. You are joining our

Bhagavadgita tele-discourse, it seems. Otherwise, you

would have known these issues there itself.

Yet we reply to you.

1. Pi:thambaradhari means the one who wears beautiful

cloth in yellow color. This color shows the purity and

auspiciouness.

2. Wearing the peacock feather is, of course, a divine

decoration, nobody ever weared. He wanted everything

unique for Himself only.

Yet, there is another interpretaion to that.

It represents the eye of human beings. Eye, as you

know, represents the knowledge. That is the real

knowledge which allows a person to surrender to the

Lotus Feet of Lord Krishna, according to the Sasthras.

Lord always holds such devotees, who follow sasthra,on

His Head, as a decoration to Him. As there is saying

" surrender to God and He will be at your beck &

call". Wearing the peacock feather shows that loving

care of God towards His devotees.
