Guest guest Report post Posted March 5, 2010 Jai Guru Datta Lakshmi Akka reported that Jayaram Mama is a 72 years young man, but added the " " on either side of that word, like " young man " ! As an admirer of both Lakshmi Akka and Jayaram Mama and the great souls at Chennai Ashram, a thought came, which I share here. Those who have the blessings of our Lord, to associate with Jayaram Mama, would instantly be attracted toward him. He not only looks like a handsome college senior, he carries himself with that charisma and there is this air of pleasantness about him. He is equally blessed like many of us, (including this lazy-writer) but he runs, nay, flies everywhere, materializing a pair of wings on his shoulders, works tirelessly, driven by the passion to serve the Lord, seated in the throne of his heart. He utilizes the blessings and makes the efforts, while some of us (like this writer!)do not make even the first step to think of utilizing our Lord's powerful blessings. Once. several years ago, our Lord has mentioned that He blesses everyone equally. (someone has asked HIm to 'strongly' bless somebody. But the Lord later made fun at a gathering, about that remark. " What is this 'strong blessing', 'medium blessing? huh? Swamiji's Blessing means Blessings. It is the same for everyone. " ) Now, I think the " " on either side of the word 'young-man' are nothing but our Lord's hands. Symbolically. I, also would like to say few words about Akka's email. She had mentioned that many people did not participate in the team's effort and arrived only after Swamiji has come. They not only did like this, but also expressed their doubts! I think this is all His Leela! What better motivation could be there, for those selected few, The DattaTeamChennai? And the Team consisted of great personalities like Lakshmi Akka and Jayaram Mama... May I make a humble request? Can we all here, have the names of the Team's members and their work-titles? Maybe it's difficult to put all the hard works in details, but maybe a book can be brought out on that 'The Effort'. Maybe the book could describe the whole efforts by all the Team members, and the book could be a sort of Inspiration for many future Datta servants. Guest guest Report post Posted March 6, 2010 JAYA GURU DATTA All Chennai devotees should be grateful to the team which made the concert an excellent example of how team work can bring miracles. I remember Swamiji worried about this 2 years back at Chennai. Through this event Chennai ashram has won its spurs . Though I was not blessed to be there personally I could feel its vibrations here in Singapore. Now its Malaysia's turn scheduled tomorrow. Though I was not able to obtain the visa due to the unexpected heavy rush due to new changed rules at the High commission, I have booked my tickets and will be flying off in a few hours to Kuala lumpur. I know Swaimji will clear all hurdles at the airport on arrival. I was witness to Swamiji's outburst at KL 4 years back but I saw their spirit when they supported Singapore last year for both the events- Swamiji's unscheduled darshan at Perumal temple as well as the concert at the Esplanade. Thank you Malaysia and we at Singapore wish you all the best enabling Swamiji's nada reach the whole of South East Asia. We yearned for Swaniji's music to bless Singapore and it happened. ( I know Swamiji loves Singapore- its a blessed piece of land) I am dreaming of Swamiji's message to the Heavens when it is closest to the equator in December 2012 ( Friday the 21st to be precise) to originate from the open air theaters of Marina Sands, Sentosa.I believe the human race would be needing it. But its only a wish. Singapore need to wake up.
