naga mani

dear shiv bhakts

om namo bhagawate rudraya

there are so many legends abound around the mystic naga mani.  here

is the latest story heard by me last week.

an ichadhari nag develops this naga mani after completion of 100

living years and then preserves it within its throat.  when it wants

to use it as a bait for getting prey, it keeps the mani on a rock or

on the ground which illuminates the whole area in red light.  then

whatever animals that come close to it or found in that light are

eaten by this nag.

according to hindu mythology, there is a separate nagalok and snakes

as ichadharis i.e. they can take any shape or form as they like.

this has been writeen in various classics.  scientists also proved

that snakes alone can stay under ground without oxygen for several

months in hibernation.  also snakes are the only creatures other

than human beings to have kundalini awakeneing.  in fact snakes get

thier kundalini awakened naturally unlike humans who strive with

ghora sadhana.

the person who wish to get this naga mani does like this.  when he

spots the red light in a jungle or in any open area and was sure

about it, he shal climb a tree nearby and throw a large iron tavva

or a big iron vessel on it with a rope carefully.  then the nag

bites the iron vessel till it dies.  the nag tries till its last

breath to get that mani and does not go away without getting the

mani.  if it fails to get the mani it would keep trying to get it

back by biting the iron vessel and trying to remove it till it

dies.  if the person comes in front of it, his image would be

caputred by the nag and the nagni which comes afterwards would hunt

that person and kills.  so he shall mask while collecting this naga

mani after the death of the nag.

in my quest to find this naga mani, only last week i found a person

in Uttar Pradesh close to Delhi who is said to have this priceless

naga mani.  it is said that if this naga mani is kept in any open

area (park, jungle or fields) even on an amavasya night, the entire

area would be illuminated with red light naturally emanating from

this naga mani.  even though that person is not willing to sell it,

he said that any lucrative offer of a million or two million rupees

would make him rethink on his giving away of this item.

in praise of lord shiva and with best wishes

dear shiv bhakt amit ji

om namo bhagawate rudraya

there are rotten fruits in each type of fruit.

there are fake tantriks and astrologers who were caught by TV

channels and are behind bars.

there are fake rudraksha sellers at all pilgrim centres.

similarly there are fake doctors and fakes in each and every

commodity including medicines.  they does not make one cynical.

these fake incidents themselves do not harm but the cynical negative

campaign by few pessimistic people who try to create a mountain out

of a mole cause more harm.

please try to have a positive outlook and positive approach whenever

a person wish to throw more light on sacred items, especially rare

items.  we shiv bhakts are all here to share knowledge and

information on various issues related to lord shiva and since nag is

called shankarabharanam or shiva wears the nag as an ornament and i

have seen myself the mythical seshnag several times enroute

Amarnath.  similarly i was sharing the information as i received on

naga mani.  by lord shiva's grace i may have a darshan of the same

and wish to take photograph and share with other shiv bhakts.

as regards naga mani is concerned, i clearly mentioned that i heard

this "story" about a man in possession of this and have not yet

seen.  i sought an appointment myself to have a darshan of the same

and shall share further information on that also.

as you rightly observed, nagamani is a soft radiant gem (not

stone).

if a particular item is not easily available it does not mean it is

extinct.  because of the rarity the price increases and the

purchaser profusely thanks the seller for making available any

rarest extinct holy objects.

in praise of lord shiva and with best wishes

Greeting sri amit ji,

Kindly take note that all are not fakes. There are some real to. I have personly seen one Real Naga Mani. I have also seen how they take the Naga Mani from the snake. Like Mr Richard said "

It is said that this jewel is present on the mouth of a snake. Its light shows the snake its way even in pitch darkness. When the snake senses some danger, it at once swallows the jewel. But it is said that all the snakes do not have this jewel. Only a few, privileged ones have it on their hoods. Naga Mani is said to be extremely expensive. If someone wishes to get it, he has to face lot of dangers. Thus, those who wish to possess Naga Mani first of all locate the right kind of snake that actually has the jewel. Then they chase the snake day and night continuously. Now, as soon as the snake puts the jewel out, it is covered with a blanket. Not seeing the light of the jewel, the snake naturally feels perplexed and in a way 'commits suicide' by beating its hood on the ground. But this whole venture is very risky."

I saw this venture with my own eyes. This happend in the village in india. The heads of the village did not allow me to take a photo because it has to returned to the village temple. I did tell the villagers that i can offer 5 million rupees for the Naga Mani but they told me that it was for the god not for you. They also said that god has chosen you to bring the Naga Mani to their temple. Thats why they even ask their mans to help me get this rare Naga Mani.

So there is real Naga Mani around but most are unknown.

Thank you

With Best Regards,

Ravan

Hi Arjun Pandit

Kya baath Hain......To get a Naga Mani ..one has to

kill brutally a NAG ...this is INHUMAN and really

condemed by Hinduism ,,,,,,,,,,what is the need of a

Naga Mani when we have a MANI which is

10,0000000000000000000000000000000000000 folds greater

than a NAGA MANI >>>>>> THE PANCHAKSHARI MANTRA >>>>>

It is said that the passion to posess a NAGA MAN|I

itself is harmful to the VAMSAM ( family ) .....if it

is in our fait then the MANA itself will be coming to

our hands with out any afforts .... all these ...Let

us hail SIVA >>>>>AND PANCHAKSHARI...........

To lett you know there are several Myths and stories

about Snakes ....Yes I do Believe in these ......I

have never witnessed but my Aunt and my father say

that they used to have a snake bill in their house in

AMALAPURAM and when ever my father's grandfather used

to sit in a swinging chair hang to the sealing the

snake used to come and sit at the top of the swing

.....emmm really some what not to our

imagination.....when the grandfather was dead the

snake never appeared again.........well there is some

mystic about these snakes but involving into snakes

stuff is always danger ......Bhakthi towards them is

Perfectly alright but to acquire a NAGA MANI

,,,,DANGER MAN ...

well that's it

Bbye

Dear sri ravan ji,

Sadar pranam!

sir, kindly read my message again...i have written that yes

nagamanis are present in this world...but real ones r almost very

very rare and hard to find...

Lot of these available for sale are fakes and u can c the pic i have

uploaded in this group photos....

I m not in anyway against the good material or knowledge to be

shared...all i want is to make people aware that such con sellers

are also there and they shud take extra precaution if they r going

to buy one...

Moreover, i dont believe that any1 having genuine nagamani will ever

try to sell it.......who will want money for it when it itself is

known to bring immense wealth and luck.

So, in no way i m against good knowledge sharing , all i want is to

advice my friends that take extra care when dealing with it..

Thanks

Its light shows the snake its way even in pitch darkness. When the

privileged ones have it on their hoods. Naga Mani is said to be

extremely expensive. If someone wishes to get it, he has to face lot

of dangers. Thus, those who wish to possess Naga Mani first of all

locate the right kind of snake that actually has the jewel. Then

they chase the snake day and night continuously. Now, as soon as the

snake puts the jewel out, it is covered with a blanket. Not seeing

the light of the jewel, the snake naturally feels perplexed and in a

way 'commits suicide' by beating its hood on the ground. But this

whole venture is very risky."

that nagas r shiva's jewels and favorites and on other hand this

looks like a joke that same person is suggesting that even if some1

sees a genuine nagamani he will have to wait for naga get killed....

I dont belive any Shiva bhagat will harm any naga for personal

benefits..

dear shiv bhakts

om namo bhagawate rudraya

whenever we share any information with a view to spread knowledge,

it is better to supplement with more additional information if not

compliment.  to criticise, finding con and foul in everything is not

an advisable approach in a public forum.

i was mentioning how this gem was obtained by a collector.  some

shiv bhakts like amit ji and sampath ji are trying to put words in

our mouths as if we are on the prowl to kill a snake.  earlier also

when we were discussing on deer skin and tiger skin usage in tapas,

few shiv bhakts felt as if we are advocating killing deers and

tigers.

shiv bhakts richard ji and kathiravan ji are blessed souls to have

had darshan of this holiest nagamani.

i hereby clarify to all shiv bhakts that no one is on the prowl to

search for a nag carrying this gem to kill and get that.  let me

repeat clearly that this gem WAS OBTAINED BY A COLLECTOR LONG LONG

AGO and we are only trying have a darshan and get a photo if

possible.

we request all shiv bhakts not to resort to criticism and instead

give contribution.

in praise of lord shiva and with best wishes

pandit arjun

dear sri amit ji,

Your question make sense but then again we must not forget what is stated in the Sri Garuda Puranam, READ BELOW. If it is a sin then why is it being stated in the Garuda Puran. THINK FOR A SECOND

Anyone possessing such a naga-mani attains piety, rare good fortune, and eventually becomes illustrious as a leader of men, complete with a great collection of all precious gems.

"Upon acquiring such a snake pearl, the owner should have the rite of installation performed by a priest who is learned in religious formalities. After hearing from the owner how the pearl was obtained and conducting the benedictory ritual, the priest should formally install the jewel inside the owner's house. On such an auspicious occasion, the sky becomes filled with dark and heavy rain clouds, thunder, and flashing lightning, such as exhibited at the time of universal dissolution. A man in possession of such a snake pearl will never be troubled by snakes, demonic beings, diseases, or disturbances in any form."---Sri Suta Goswami - Sri Garuda Puranam: 69

Thank you

I dont belive any Shiva bhagat will harm any naga for personal

Its light shows the snake its way even in pitch darkness. When the

snake senses some danger, it at once swallows the jewel. But it is

said that all the snakes do not have this jewel. Only a few,

privileged ones have it on their hoods.

But this

nagamani is not a material one but it is a myth.

i think ppl spent their time to bhakthi towards god

which is based on desire.

Desire in anyway for ex to reach the moksha and living

in the paradide with all comforts is also meaningless.

Do meditate

find millions of nagamani and other precious matter

around u.

look at lord siva's pic

not a single gram of gold he wears

why ppl are crazy to get worldly and mythical objects

to own.

dear shiv bhakt amit ji

om namo bhagawate rudraya

i request all shiv bhakts to close this thread hereitself and

continue only if they have anything to add value or contribute more

or supplement with additional information like ravan ji added from

garuda puran.

in public groups and blogs, debates and free exchange of views on

any and everything takes place.  but this is a spiritual group where

people come to forget their mental tensions and find peace in

reading spiritual messages and seek answers to their queries and ask

for more information on lord shiva and his related issues.

in praise of lord shiva and with best wishes

Dear Fellow Group members,

Naga ie snake is a symbol.Of What , of our cage the Backbone and when one use his key to open up his cage (Kundalini sakthi). It raises from the lower portion or the key part to the head.

In this passage there are various states(chakras)and at each stage different forms of Gods can be viualized and moreover we can see and hear things happening in that place.(I dont know but some great realized say).

Snakes are parables.when we see a snake on the neck of Lord Shiva that meant his is in the chakra of neck, Sothe position of snake could mean where what diety is there to be realized.(This is my guess so if people know better do enlighten instead of pouring critics).

Moorthy

  Dear Ravan,

There is a similar story here in Brazil about some snakes having

very beautiful jewels in their throats. I have never see any, though.

But in India it is the belief that only the Naja (hooded, venom-

spitting) snake has this jewel?

I am very much attracted to this animal, I don´t know why. Snakes

are surely something very strange, first because they move very

rapidly with no arms or legs, second because they swim and third

because they are able to hide very wisely and move very silently.

I have seen a number of venomous snakes here in Brazil, it is

quite common in many regions of the country. I have always been

hypnotized and stared to them hours in the zoo when I was a kid.

When I was about 7 years old I saw the biggest, one of the most

terrible snakes here in Brazil called Jararaca. It was some 6 to 8

feet long and moved slightly. When it saw us, me and my cousins and

my uncle, it prepared to attack us. We set back and gladly my unkle

had a 12caliber shooter and was able to shoot it dead.

Other day, more recently, I was in small river surrounded by long

leaves of "capim" or grown green grass, trying to cross it to get

the football ball that had been kicked out of the playfield.

Intuitively I looked to my right side when I was bended stretching

my arms to get the ball. There it was: a big, 4-5 feet, green, wide-

necked snake. It had its head and half of its body up, staring at

me, just some 2 feet away from me (less than 1 meter). Intuitively I

stared back at her, unmoving, both bewildered and amazed but not

frightened! I stood staring at the snake for some 30 seconds or more

until she slowly put her head down and smoothly got into the river,

calmly swimming away from me. This was a very fun experience. When I

remembered it 5 minutes later, I was very afraid. But, somehow, when

it happened I was simply kind of cold.

I also like lizzards. When I´m in bush areas or trails in the

forest I usually meet them. I like them staring, gazing and walking

so fast. Once I was smoking cannabis in a forest trail with a friend

and we saw a large lizzard. It turned its head and stared at us.

Then it came closer and closer. Distracted by the talk with my

friend, I then felt something in my left leg. When I looked, it was

the lizzard! It was standing cooly with the two front legs on my

leg. I thought how cute, and moved my hand to rub its head. But then

it walked back suddenly.

   Reptiles are very interesting.

Mani. I have also seen how they take the Naga Mani from the snake.

Like Mr Richard said "

Its light shows the snake its way even in pitch darkness. When the

snake senses some danger, it at once swallows the jewel. But it is

said that all the snakes do not have this jewel. Only a few,

privileged ones have it on their hoods.
