Selvam, Namaste Agni in the form of ghee lamp is required for mantra japa and this includes His 108 names with water offering, puspa and tulsi. Anyway, the basic mantra is: ` nmae Égvte sudzRnay om namo bhagavate sudarçanäya is an obeisance. R^i is the “fire” syllable added to the biija which we can use to ignite our internal fire (without) an external (physical) fire. Without the physical fire, the two gaayatriis which are used for His yantra will be good enough for your purpose. The other alternative is chanting of the 12 forms (murtis) and each is united with the 12 aadityas. Depending on which month you begin, you can use that particular form with that particular aaditya. From what has been taught to me, there are only four lunar months in the year when you can initiate/begin this particular mantra. I can’t say more than this due to the vagueness of your request, but hope this will help you in some way. Change sahasraara to sahasraaraM. * * * Lord Sudarsana is a personification of Lord Vishnu's discus that kills demons. Literally, Su-darsana means " [one who enables] good and clear vision " . When we see some things as desirable (e.g. a beautiful person, a delicious food item, a well-paying job etc) and some things as undesirable (e.g. an ugly person, a rotten food item, hunger, poverty etc), it means that our vision is not good and clear. Only a sthitaprajna who sees all things the same way and does his dharma without feeling attraction or repulsion for anything can be said to have good and clear vision. Lord Sudarsana destroys the internal enemies within us, such as desires, anger, greed, jealosy etc, and gives us clear vision. In other words, he destroys our weaknesses and liberates us.
