According to the Vedanta all ten people would experience the same Prakrati or tree. According to Trika Saivagama, each would have their own distinct, individual, experience of Prakrati or that tree. In Shaivism, the combined sum total of these distinct, individual experiences of the tree would form a 'matrix of objectivity' which would be the actual perception. Probably no one would agree that the two philosophical postions can both be correct. However, they are merely different postions that the Self takes. (Another matrix) I'll refer you to Sutra 8 of the Pratyabhijnahrdayam (Ksmeraja's Doctrine of Recognition) Sutra 8: "Tad bhumikah sarva darsana sthitayah" "The postions of the various systems of philosophy are only various roles of That. (Consciousness or Self)." A mundane 'matrix of objectivity' might be an accident at an intersection. Ten people see the same thing. Ten different stories. The policeman gets everyone's story and then, using the combined perspectives, tries to understand what occurred.
