Apart from the primordial state, pure consciousness, everything can be

called conditioning. Why add more to it? Of course one could reason the

other way around: If there are so many conditionings already, a few more

won't be much of a problem.

The problem is that people suffer it. People

> suffer it and then they suffer getting rid of it. And then they suffer

> its absence and then they suffer their coming realizations.

Suffering pertains to self. Conditioning pertains to self. Realization

pertains to self. No duality without a self.

One's real nature doesn't require understanding or a name and it is

spontaneously perceived as self-luminous when the mask of self is dropped.

> call I AM, Jesus or Guru or Your Guru, Sri (put his or her name here),

> or whatever. Abide in I AM. Do that first and last and during.

Who is to abide in whom? No wonder the Buddha gave up his 5 year practice,

gave up self and then... the Big Flash.

:) Some of us, going barefoot, prefer a path on the grass without gravel and

stones, not fearing the big fiery snake that many want to avoid (:>
