Thank you for sharing Dilipji.

 

To be able to sit in one asana comfortably is defined by the sages.How

do one overcome obstacles created by inablity to sit in one asana for

along time for recitation purpose?

 

We see Swamiji sits in siddhasana while Bhagawan Ramakrishna often

seen in sukhasana? In recitation of Chandi Path what would be ideal

and how does one overcome these difficulties ?

I like to keep life simple and sweet full of Love and Devotion

to One you pray to. But at the same time, being in this body one has

to push oneself little bit (with the right attitude) - That's in lay

men's term "Payback" - So Asana is good as long as it doesn't deviate

you from your Sadhana and right attitude. Our scriptures are full of

Ascetics who performed their sadhana's in various asanas.

 

So pick one or few asanas but don't keep changing them during

course of a Sadhana in a session. Be mindful at all times - that's

the best practise! Its best to maintain one single Asana in at least

one session ... but facts of life - pain, time, restrictions, ....

but at the same time don't forget Payback also!

 

I'm not too strict about Asanas - I'm ordinary individual with

sincere dedication ...

 

I look at it this way, "What if One doesn't know a Asana, God is

going to get angry or be not happy - I don't want that God who is

getting influenced by my body (or external stuff)!"

Ashtami is 8th day from dark night = that's for Krishna and Kali

Tryodashi is 13th ... = that's for Lord Shiva

Monday is also for Lord Shiva
