mahabharata - course of events

I was wondering if anyone knows of any good resources where i can find the chronology of events in the Mahabharata in detail? (short of going back to the Sanskrit, that is)

I have been doing research online on possible chronological events which described in Mahabratha. Now, I'm doing research on Mass Extinctions which occured 6 times in the past to 6 Avatars of Vishnu (minus Sri Rama and Sri krishna and probably Vamana Avatar as well).

Mass extinctions? That's interesting. I always thought of mass extintions to be coincidental to the end of mini yuga cycles. So we're in the 7th Kaliyuga at the moment (hence 6 major extenctions in the past). Anyway, i'm trailing off.

Er ... no ... humans didn't pass 7 kali yugas, they only have a single kali yuga. Whether they will survive or perish determines by their faith and God's will.

 

The 6th "Kaliyugas" which I spoke of is what happened to this world since Creation. Maybe it is what happened to our Souls since Creation of this World.
