When does sadhana eradicate the anartha of sexual desires?

The intense practice of chanting Krsna Nama brings one to the level of nistha progressively; the mercy is there.

 

At the level of nistha, is this material desire indeed fully eradicated or is it still dormant ready to pounce on the unsuspecting sadhaka at a moments notice?

The attack of MAYA on the unsuspecting sadhaka depends on the level the sadhaka is in. If he is an advanced devotee such as Srila Prabhupada, MAYA will attack and fail.

 

A useless sadhaka like me, MAYA will attack and MAYA will win.

 

Now, in both cases, MAYA is attacking, only the level of sadhaka is different.

 

So as long as we are on this material platform, we should perform sadhaka as MAYA will attack us till the soul leaves this body.

 

This gives us all the more reason as to why we should chant 24hrs as Srila Prabhupada said we may die any moment.
