Guest guest Report post Posted September 16, 2005 Hari bol, It is said that Krishna is absolute. So his name and his personality are same. That is why Hare krishna mantra is Krishan Himself. But if we take this logic further, than all His energies ( internal, external and marginal ) are also same as part of absolute. Than there is no difference between Krishna and ordinary Jiva like us. But we see it is not like this why ? Hari bol DD.
Guest guest Report post Posted September 16, 2005 yes there's no essential difference... the only thing is that we are subordinated, because our qualities come from Him.. this subordination makes possible that, when we desire to forget krsna, krsna can make us forget through his maha maya energy.. so he's absolutely the supreme we are absolutely subordinate.. and we are subordinated to the absolute who gives us bhakti or maya.. according to our desire

som 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2005 Hare Krishna GuestJi, This verse will help us understand this inconceivable oneness and difference: [ Jivera Svarupa Haya Krishnera Nitya Dasa Krishnera Tatastha Shakti Bhedabheda Prakaash Suryaamsha Kirana Yache Agni-Jvaala Chaaya Svaabhaavika Krishnera Tina Shakti Haya "It is the living entity's constitutional position to be an eternal servant of Krishna because he is the marginal energy of Krishna and a manifestation simultaneously one with and different from the Lord, like a molecular particle of sunshine or fire. Krishna has three varieties of energy. - CC Madhya 108-109 - http://caitanyacaritamrta.com/madhya/20/108-109/en ] The example given is that of the rays coming from the sun though they are a part of the sun but at the same time not the sun. Similarly the living entity is a part and parcel of Krishna but not Krishna! Hare Krishna! Dasanudasa, Somesh.
