protectacow 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2005 Since we have been featured now twice on this new full of Transcendendal Energy Website, i thought good to provide link for you.......... Please check it out!..... http://harekrsna.com/sun/news/news.htm#76 Excerpt from Sun Article as well as Quote from the original.... Sep 3, USA (SUN) — On August 29th, the Sun ran an article entitled "Ambassador of Bhakti Yoga" in honor of Srila Prabhupada's Vyasa-puja day. Assuming that the article had come from the Vedabase or a similar archive, we didn't look-up a specific source citation. We were pleased to learn that there is, in fact, a very interesting story behind the 'Ambassador' article. On September 22, 1965, just five days after arriving in the U.S., Srila Prabhupada gave a lecture at the YMCA in Butler, Pennsylvania. The local newspaper, the Butler Eagle, printed an article and picture of the event. Given their dedicated service to cow protection, the devotees were very pleased to discover that Srila Prabhupada had made mention of the cows in his very first article from the West: "Life and Milk of Cow" is all-important to the Swamiji's way of life; all else is artificial, he claims. Guest guest Report post Posted October 10, 2005 This Vaisnava news site is very good. The part that I don't really care for is the some of it is used as a platform for the owners own opinions and/or agenda. But then we aren't always going to agree and no one is going to agree with everyone else on the planet. The news part is excellent and I do visit each day to see what is what in the devotee world.
