You know, if you look too long at Krishna with His flute, you will fall in love with Him. You might not care about material benefits like money, property, people, etc. Like Meera abandoning her palace for the temple. Actually if you "lose" things because of Krishna, that is a blessing from Krishna. He doesn't take anything from you, but you just feel like renouncing. Actually, Gopala Krishna is the greatest wealth. I have a Muralidhara Krishna in my house, and nothing bad has happened. Guest guest Posted November 12, 2004 Report Share Posted November 12, 2004 I am blessed with shri shri radha-madhava in my house...my love for Krsna has made me un attached to a lot of things I cared about so much earlier loss of money or gold damage to my house doesn't bother me coz I know he is there he will protect me.Only good things have happened since I had him...with Krsna in your house you are blessed and protected. Tuls Posted November 18, 2004 Report Share Posted November 18, 2004 I don't think you should keep Krishna's Deity in your house unless you intend to worship him. You can have His statue. There is a big difference, to have a Krishna's Deity in the house is the same as you invite the Lord to be your guest.
