They are to be known as sins [kalmasa]. Sin is that which separates us from God. Devotional service is Srimati Radharani. Apararadha is what separates us from Her. This is "sin" for a devotee, because without Radha there is no Krsna either. Morality has nothing to do with it, hence "religious or irreligious".
