The nothing and the creation.

The realm of duality, which comprises the material worlds has a begining depicted in the creation of the worlds (see Srimad Bhagavatam) and also an end (because it belongs to the dual nature).

In this world everything has a cause.

We have never experienced something which has no cause.

So, how can we find the first cause in this world, in which the principle of cause and effect is rulling?

There must be another world with other principles, which must be the cause of this world.

That world is called the absolute world or the spiritual world, in which the principle of cause and effect it doesn't work as we know it.

That means, whatever exists in that world is always present. There is no past and no future.

On the other side in the material worlds, there is no present, but past and future.

So the spiritual world is always present, that means eternal.

"Nothing" has a meaning only in the world of duality.

That means, "nothing" is a relativ term.

In Srimad Bhagavatam 1.2.30 it is said:

sa evedam sasarjAgre / bhagavAn Atma-mAyayA

sad-asad-rUpayA cAsau / guNamayAguNo vibhuH

In the begining of creation (agre) The Supreme Personality of Godhead(bhagavAn)

created (sasarja) the cause of the material worlds (sat)

and its effect (asat) from His internal, spiritual energy (atma-myaya)

which took this (idam) form (rUpaya)

and (ca) He is not afected (agunah) by the material modes of nature(guna maya).

What is the cause of the material world?

What is the effect?
