Knowledge Is Action

Hridayananda…

Uh, if I go to this place, then all my desires will be satisfied.

"Well, why don't you go there?"

"Oh, no! I just wanted the knowledge for it's own sake."

This is foolishness. Actually, this is the impersonal idea… I just want to know. I won't do anything… As if the soul is not active by nature.

Actually, a soul is active by nature. So as soon as you know something, you must do something. Otherwise, you don't know actually. Because knowledge means to know what is to be done, what is not to be done, what is good, what is bad: This is called knowledge.

So we should not only be prepared, but we should be engaged in Krsna consciousness.

Haribol!

I really needed to be told that today!

I like these shorts quips, very nice, sometimes you can say whats to be said in a few short words, and it can really effect your mind.

Thanks. I get alot from Hridyananda's lectures. I find him inspiring. I'm sharing him for the same reason.
