Om Namo Narayanaya!

Dear Haribandhus! I wanted to ask that whether is there any difference between chanting of the Hare Krishna Mantra or Om Namo Narayanaya.Factually I have done a sankalpa of chanting the Narayana Astakshara Mantra. Please help me clarify my doubts!

You can call Him narayana, rama, krishna, padmanabha, venkateshwara, it's still the same guy. Whether you prefer to imagine him in his four-armed narayana form or in his Sri Krishna form, you can still call him Narayana. I don't think he would mind.

Also, in Venkateshwara Suprabhatam, Sri Venkateshwara is called Govinda and Rama in different verses. I don't think it matters the name you use, he will know you are talking to Him.
