Maya is a powerful thing, we cannot fight the desires of this material world alone... for that we seek a higher being (krishna) and with him we get rid of anarthas. So, if we just chant and try to do things that clear our consciousness instead of trying to remove anarthas , then they will automatically perish. Govindaram 1 Report post Posted July 25, 2003 Hare Krishna Prabhu Chant like ILK says, and ask/beg the mercy of Sri Radha and Lord Chaitanya/Lord Nirsimhadeva, again and again and again, always, ask for the association of a pure devotee, beg till you can beg no more,then beg some more, and then again, ask them to destroy the desire for material enjoyment from within you heart, and try to chant with feeling, it might seem a bit artificial at first (to the mind), but just see how you feel when you practice more and more, I experienced it feels so much more beautiful.
