dev 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2003 Hare krishna prabhu, Based on the current religion system and the concept of Krishna consciousness, can we say that only KRISHNA devotee go back to godhead not others. A general Christian ( if he believes in only Jesus and father Jehovah ) can be a nice person but he will be eating meat if he is not aware of Krishna consciousness . In next life he will take birth as Krishna devotee and then can go back to god head. Similarly those who are nice religious Muslims unknowingly acquiring bad karma by eating meat and in next life will take birth as Krishna devotee and if still remains firm in belive, go back to godhead. Can there be some other person in GOD head who does not know Krishna but knows only Jehovah or Allah and followed the scripture written in bible or holi Qoran . yasodanandana 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2003 the ten commandments, or basic moral regulative principles, have to be respected practising all religions, otherwise our bad karma (=debts) will keep us entangled in this world having said that, it is a question of love, if one loves jesus it is unlikely that, in the spiritual world / paradise or whatever, he finds nrsmhadeva or caitanya mahaprabhu that he does not even knows if the the object of our love and worship is not relevant for our next destination, the only way to explain it should be that the ultimate reality is a formless and impersonal god who sometimes sends in our world an illusory form of krsna, buddah, jesus, mohamed, shiva etc. to give us the facilitation to worship an antropomorphic character but obviously it is not true... krsna is real, shiva is real, jesus is real and so on so if one wants jesus he goes to jesus, if one wants shiva he goes to shiva... provided that he's free from debts(=karma) in this planet Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Whether it is Christian, Muslim or Jew or some other religious person... In my view, if you gain so much bhakthi toward your version of God, you will see Hari in the end. We are no different from our christian and Muslim collegues because we are still under control of maya. But whether we are in delusion or out of it, the truth is the truth.
